Sudoku craze

Congratulations kay Sarah Jane Cua, 14 year-old Math whiz, na dinaig ang 150 players sa International *Sudoku Competition in Singapore last week.

Nakamit nia ang 1st place sa Brand's Asia Pacific Open 2008 sa Singapore's Vivo City noong July 11 - 13, 2008. Sa $10,000 na cash prize na naiuwe nia, kasama na ang trophy at certificate, (may scepter din kaya?) babalik uli siya sa Singapore para (paduguin ang utak) sa International Mathematics Competition

Akalain mo nga namang ginamitan niya ng formula at computations ung Sudoku. Ako, dinadaan ko lang sa trial and error, madalas pa akong mali. (Katamaran kasi magcompute!)

Buti na lang Wordhunt ang favorite ko (lumulusot pa!) tsaka S-O-S. (Hindi kailangang gamitan ng utak.)
Tsaka ung Bazooka na pasasabugin mo ung mga stars ng kalaban gamit ang pagtulak ng nakatayong ballpen sa base ng kalaban.


*Sudoku is a logical puzzle played by filling in the game board so that the numbers 1 through 9 occur exactly once in each row, column, and 3x3 box.

I've never been a big fan of Sudoku. Numbers na nga kaharap ko maghapon, kahit sa leisure time numbers pa rin? No way. Lol.

Scrabble na lang. Or Uno. Or Monopoly. Or Pictionary. Hehehe.

Kahit ako na mahilig sa numbers *ak inamin* di gusto ang Sudoku. Para kasing walang form ang numbers. Di masyado aesthetic tingnan. Hahaha. Box lang.

Hahaha, puwede rin. At least ang crossword puzzles may black and white squares, may symmetry. Hahaha.

I was not interested with sudoku before but then a former fling introduced it to me and that's how I got hooked to it.

It's fun once you get the hang of it. :)
